Day 6: horns and washer bottle

Not much time today, so I just did a couple of easy jobs:

1. Fitting the horns
The ends of the horn brackets are obstructed by the long bump-steer washer, but a bit of manipulation solved the minor issue.
I'm not sure how much cable-tying to do for the various wires inside the cockpit, so have probably gone a bit over the top.

2. Fitting the washer bottle feed
All very straightforward, with plenty of cable-tying to keep the pipe out of the way of everything. I found a few seconds' blast with my paint stripper gun (also very useful for cable heatshrinking) did the trick on the ends of the pipe, to ease them over the small nipples on each end.
A squirt of rubber lubricant meant the passage through the large grommet on top of the tunnel was very easy.

Also, it's handy to have a small person who can lie under the car...
Optimal head position for cable tying washer tube as it comes down through tunnel grommet...

As above...
RHS engine bay, with tied up washer tube and electrical contact in place
The washer bottle bracket was already in place when the chassis arrived, which made things easier.

(NB something the manual doesn't tell you: some wires/looms are "properly" cable tied to the chassis by Caterham, and don't need moving. Others are only temporarily tied to the chassis, and are intended to be clipped free and then re-tied to the appropriate bit of chassis. Example of the latter are the horns and washer bottle pump connectors for the above.)
